We were at the Warrensville Heights Senior Center for an event and asked for a restaurant recommendation for fish. The employees recommended Hooked! Wow! Very much reminds me of places all over the South Side of Chicago. Great food! I had the perch dinner and my mom had the catfish po boy. Fantastic crunchy breading and not greasy. Be aware this is a take out restaurant with tables so you order at the counter and the food will come in containers and the drinks are bottled. We enjoyed the super hot delicious food and great hospitality. Thanks so much!
Today was our first time eating there. I didn't know about it until I saw it on Instagram. My wife got the cat fish, and she's really picky and likes it. I got the polish boy, which is huge and great since it was my first time I wanted to try the wings, which did not disappoint me. I can't wait to try Philly next
Excellent restaurant folks , haven't had a Polish Boy this good since Coneheads in the 90s . I'm definitely gonna try the other food items . Staff is super nice very clean and comfortable inside . Kudos hooked you used a quality sausage for your polish Boys says alot for your restaurant. The fries were fresh cut and excellent coleslaw exciting flavors for your pallet. 12 dollars for a Polish Boy footling nice .
Stopped here for a bite before our game. People super polite. Food was extremely tasty. Got the chicken tenders dinner and the chicken po'boy The portions were huge! Definitely get your money's worth!! I would say if you get the chicken tenders. Get the sauce on the side. It was delicious, just a bit messy as it was all over the fries as well, which by the way were extremely tasty as well Funny part to this. We were the visiting team and when we went through the gate, found out the ticket lady was the owners mom. How cool and small world The only 4 stars for atmosphere as it seems was more setup for take out.
I got the Rasta pasta and my girlfriend got the Alfredo. Honestly some of the best pasta if not THE best pasta I’ve had in so so long. And the portions were HUGE. The DJ was spinning some fire R&B and the woman at the counter (who I believe may have been the owner) was so wonderful. I wish I lived closer but I WILL be back every time I’m in town. Amazing. I knew it was going to be good but I couldn’t have even imagined THIS level of greatness. Can’t wait to try their sides next time.
Awesome soul food restaurant. This is a take out only we ended up eating in the car however food was amazing check out these smothered pork chops and greens!
I got the tender dinner plate with Mac and cheese and a can of soda. All was under 16. Tenders were large, fresh and juicy. Cooked to order! Mac and cheese was well seasoned and noodles not over cooked! I ate half and was full. You could easily share a dinner plate with an extra side. 4 TV all on different channels, something for everyone. Chairs are wide and good cushion. The staff I interacted with had great customer service. I'm definitely trying one of their pastas next time!!!
My family has been going to this restaurant and really enjoyed the food that they purchased Went this time, and I was not disappointed after I received my order. You're greeted when walking in, and that's the start of great customer service. The young lady taking our order was informative and very patient and helped a lot being my first time. Our food was cooked just right, looking good tasting great and at the right temperature
